Out of Town Scoreboard

Watching the hapless Chicago Blackhawks trying to score is a pointless exercise, as the less than 6,000 faithful United Centre attendees can attest. Indeed, they only scored once against Anaheim, by accident, and then rang one off of the post and crossbar in the final 5 seconds, thus ensuring Anaheim their two points. The Canucks also came through with the help of Columbus' Manny Malhotra, who was probably paid off by the same fan that sent Bertuzzi white powder in an envelope. This just makes winning tomorrow against Detroit in front of a national audience that much more of a big deal. For me, winning the three games against Vancouver next week would be almost as good as winning a round in the playoffs.
