Well...

GOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More to the point, though, I missed the entire game. Walked in my apartment building just as the roar went up from Whyte. Feels kind of like being crucified, a little. Oh well.

GOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone notice the kid in the Canes shirt run down the steps to give the oilers the finger with both hands right where they were celebrating pisani's goal? I mean, it was on national TV! innocent women and children might have seen! the moral decay of society might be just around the corner! the utter classylessness shown by all 18,000 canes fans in attendance (as represented by this guy) obviously don't deserve a hockey team, what with their loose fingers and all.

I missed everything afte rthe first period, albeit by choice. Fortunately I have Whyte Ave right outside my door, so I got the gist. Fuck yeah.

Better yet. Did you see the little guy verging on tears standing on the seat next to Mum? Classic!

Brian, how dare you post masquerading as Julian?

I love that kid...you don't deserve to experience a Stanley Cup win as a child until you've shed tears after a few losses. That's how you learn that life is pain.

It's funny: Carolina has only got as far as they have on the back of their power play (I'm still hard pressed to believe they are the better team 5-on-5). So for them to give up the game winner while holding the man advantage is tasty stuff.

So where's the toronto party gonna be on saturday? I'm most definitely going to be in TO, and I'll need fellow fans to celebrate with or a shoulder to cry on, depending on how the night turns out.

I may have to bring the girlfriend along, but it's ok, she's good luck. I don't think the Oil have lost a game yet when she watches with me...

Yes, let's make plans for Saturday! Ideas?

Actually for Fathers' Day I am getting, ironically, a day without my family.

Those with kids will understand.

Saturday is it.

So I am in as well.

I will be incoherent. But in.

That's right on the money... I at 7 years of age had to witness Steve Smith bank it in off Fuhrsy for one of the biggest dissapointments in sports history when my brother took me to the game... the Oil were ripping up the record books that year more than any other. Nevermind all those Dallas series where I didn't cry but I could strangle a bull with my bare hands I was so mad.

Us Oil fans have suffered enough... that Pisani goal may have swung momentum our way for good. 5-5 we dominate them really they are full of holes and it's starting to show... if only our powerplay got going it would be sweet.

GOILERS!!!
