AL-RIGHT! Let's hear it for the WESTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPION EDMONTON OILERS!!!!!
Nice series, hats off to the Oilers.Hold your head high. :)A Canes fan.
And thanks for one of the best hockey seasons ever. With the exception of the end, Hollywood couldn't have written anything better. It's great to be an Oiler fan!
That second picture could NOT be more manly.
Nor, the first more manical. Sorry folks. I'll save my criticism of Craig "Poncho" Simpson for another day though.
I've loved the blog through this run- Keep it up lads- RCD
do we look like we're crying, pete? save it. it's been a great series.
Pfff. After listening to my Oiler pals yip yip yip for two years how losing game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals is some sort of a choke act, I can't believe what I am reading here.Of course, it's not a choke to lose that game and it is a wonderful accomplishment. Pity you had to live through my agony to learn this.Go Flames!!
It's all in how you get there Pete-when you piss away a glorious opportunity to win the fucking Cup on your home ice-it's a defeat. When you battle back the way the Oilers did, it's still a defeat but a defeat with pride.
>Go Flames!!Ha hahaha
Hey Chris, you guys did a fantastic job covering the playoffs and our beloved Oilers. They played with their hearts the whole way. They've shown that they have a team of the future. A lot of people should take some lessons from the job they did. Until this series I thought that MacT and KL should go at the end of the year. I'm not so sure about MacT any more. He rallied this team into a powerhouse(except for a few glitches) So on forward for you and your blog buddies. Remember what I said, move onto something else for the summer. Hey why not the Eskimos??? The champagne photos were very fitting to celebrate your success with this blog.
That's a hell of a hockey team you got there. See you next year.Go Canes!
MacT stays. But Simpson's head should be flung from the parapet into the crowd on Thursday afternoon. We can arrange an impromptu soccer game with it. Needless to say, we'll play 5-on-3.
