Lame-o Friday Night!

Facing work tomorrow, I'm easily discouraged from heading out into the cold to "party." Instead, I reap the benefits of regional sportscasting via my Centre Ice cable package, notably MSG's funny little "Bobby Granger" interstitials that most people probably haven't seen:

Oh, and the Oil better win tonight or POW!

Those are great! More teams should do fun things like that.

I live in New York and see those a lot, very good. Believe it or not, the Washington Capitals used to have the best ever. The best one was Ollie Kolzig on a romantic date in a very nice restaurant with a knockout blonde. The waiter brought him the wine, then poured it into his goalie water bottle, which he then squirted into his mouth and sprayed across his face, like goalies do with their bottles.

You'd have to see them I guess.

How can the first two be so painfully stupid and the third one be so funny?
Also the word "guide" sure is used loosely.

The last one is by far the funniest. It's too bad we don't have JD on MSG games any more. Hopefully the Oil can benefit from that though.

I hate watching the games where CI blacks out the commercials with "we'll be right back." Longest minute and a half ever.

My favourite hockey commercial was the FOX SN "Basketball would be better if it was hockey."
