AAAAAAUGH!

What a dangerous thing to do, yet he gets off scot-free. This league makes no sense.

At least Simon had the sense while in his fit of rage to stomp on the other guy's hard plastic skate boot. Pronger's fit of rage, while perhaps more artfully disguised, could potentially have torn some calf apart.

And Bob Mckenzie didn't even call him an assclown.

How does this happen?! I just can't believe that he's going to get away with it!

Pronger and Burke are the best heels in hockey. Go Ducks.

I hate Pronger as much as the next guy, but I have to admit that if he'd done anything to earn the benefit of the doubt, I'd call that an accident.

Naw, its Kesler who is a huge pain in the ass. He has him in a leglock.

That's no accident.

The NHL wheel of justice, now that is an accident.

Poor Chris hasn't been the same since THEY burned his children's furniture.

I think those clips would get the point that Colin Campbell is either completely insane or completely corrupt across better if they were backed with some circus music.

I mean, that's no accident. Pronger pauses with the foot in the air, is aware that there's a hockey player there, and brings his foot down like the blade of a guillotine. If that's an accident, I'm a Flames fan.

Those are both horrifying incidents, to be sure, but there is still only one person to have taken off his skate and tried to stab someone with it.

The SportsNet guys figure a 5 game suspension is likely. Why Simon would get 30 and Pronger only 5 is a mystery... both have numerous prior suspensions.

TSN are reporting that it is 8 games suspension. What a joke, he should be gone until October.

"I'd like to apologize to Ryan Kesler, the Vancouver Canucks, my teammates and the National Hockey League for my actions last Wednesday night," Pronger said in a statement Saturday.

"While I did not intend to injure Ryan, I respect the league's decision on this matter and look forward to returning to the ice and leading my teammates into the playoffs."

I hate this guy.

"We understand the NHL's determination to reduce skate-blade incidents and accept the process and Mr. Campbell's judgment," said Ducks general manager Brian Burke in a team-released statement.

"We also stand behind our captain, a player with great character and leadership qualities that are critical to our club."

I hate this guy even more...

What a joke, 8 games means a nice rest for Pronger, with a 1 game tuneup in the reg season before the playoff push. Someone should go and stomp his son to see what happens...

When Chris Simon is making the most amount of sense, alarm bells should be going on...

"If you look at the tape and look at his history, you can't say we're different, other than he's a star player and I'm not."

For math fans, this means the following:

Pronger + Star = Simon

Star = Approx. 25% of the Suspendability of a non-star

Fat cunts, the both of them.

Gotta be Yakkety Sax. Maybe Sabre Dance, but I'm not sold on it in this particular instance.

Fat cunts, the both of them.

Burke vs. Lowe is back at the top, sorry.
